- Well while your are developing, cells in your bones called osteoblasts cluster and create an ossification center where the bones form. Then your bones began osteogenesis, the development that made them grow. Your bones also aren't technically the same ones you have always had, because of the appositional growth process where old bone is absorbed and new tissue grows. And the final piece of the puzzle, your growth plates, that are responsible for bone lengthening and as you grow these plates will become solid.

- Don't worry sweety! The bones are going to start the bone healing process by forming a blood clot to stabilize the area. A callus will grow around the fracture and hold it together. Then your osteoblasts will build new bone while your osteoclasts will remove the excess callus and reshape the bones. Then eventually the bone tissue will mature and become stronger and like the original

But the again there are the different types of cartilage that could be being affected. the Hyaline that helps your bone move past each other in your joints. And then there the epiphyseal cartilage that is hyaline with a gelatinous texture. And finally the articular tissue, a thin connective tissue that transfers forces between articulating joints to provide a frictionless surface for joints.
