  • After the events of Jason and the Quest of the Golden Fleece, Medea had done everything. She killed King Pelias and her brother for Jason to be in power, Yet, everything wasn't enough. They were exiled in Corinth... after she was left by Jason to marry the princess of Corinth. There stood the nurse who took care of Medea and her children, who witnessed as Medea lost her spirit.
  • My mistress, Medea... I feel terrible for her. She would not eat, see us... She's been crying all day. I can't believe she sacrificed everything to be with that... foolish man. She does not deserve this.
  • Medea was in distress. She couldn't control her emotions. Her anger and sadness would cause her to curse Jason, her children, and his new wife. The nurse tried very hard to distract the children from Medea's situation.
  • I have suffered too much! I wish i could die! May the whole household die a horrible death!
  • Let's go, children! Everything will be alright! Nothing to see here.
  • Suddenly, Creon, the King of Corinth, arrives to tell Medea that she must immediately leave Corinth. He was aware of how dangerous Medea can be, knowing that she can hurt Jason and his daughter. But after much begging, he gives in to Medea's pleads of staying for a day.
  • Fine! I will give you one more day... But after a day passes... You must leave Corinth!
  • Please! Give me one more day! I worry for my children once I will be exiled! I will find a way... just one day, please!
  • I did it for you and the children! So you would live prosperously! You are unthankful! How dare you curse the royal family!?
  • Almost immediately after Creon had left Medea's home, Jason arrived. It was the time for Medea to let out her anger at her unfaithful husband. Jason had his reasons, but even the chorus had said that Jason was in the wrong. Exactly after this, Medea starts to slowly plot her revenge on Jason.
  • Jason, you have composed a lovely speech, but you may disagree when we say that you betrayed your wife. You've treated her unjustly and horribly.
  • I have betrayed everything for you and this is how you repay me!? I hate you! You are the worst of men!
  • King Aegeus is the King of Athens. He was childless and he was seeking on how he could have a child. Medea tells him about her situation, seeking a place to stay at after carrying out her plan. Happily, King Aegeus offers a place in his city and swears to the Gods that he will not sell out any information about Medea once she is in exile.
  • Yes, I swear by the gods that if I don't, I will suffer whatever an unholy man deserves.
  • He's allowing that? What a horrible man... Shame on him... How about I offer you and your children a place to stay?
  • Do you promise to offer me a place to stay at your city once I am exiled?
  • I am being exiled... and Jason has a new wife... He no longer cares for my children and I.
  • Medea had the perfect plan... Kill the Princess and make Jason feel the same pain she felt when he left her. However, there was one flaw: killing her children. The women of Corinth were on the same page, but they protested the death of her children, for they did nothing wrong. Unfortunately, Medea was too focused on revenge to think morally.
  • I have made my plan. I will give the princess a cursed robe, which will poison the person who will wear it and the people who touch them. I want you to call on Jason... I will tell him that I am no longer angry and that I believe him. Then, I will have to kill my children...
  • What!? Kill your children!? Medea... I think it's better to leave them alone!
