- We made a noise c'mon
- The bear is now entering the house this shows Person vs nature because something natural from nature coming into contact with Lyddie.

- Please don't break anything we're poor

- They are backing away from the bear this shows Person Vs Nature since they are at conflict with the bear and are backing away from it. It shows them facing troubles with an animal from nature.

- Thank god the hevay pottery didn't break
- Haha the kettle is on its head
- Lyddie and Charlie are now fighting the bear which is on the hind legs in the book on page 2 it says, “The old bear roared in frustration and waved at the empty air with his huge paws, then reared up on his hind legs.”This shows Person Vs Nature since they are fighting the bear and hitting it with the ladder. In the comic it also shows this as the bear is on its hind legs ready to attack but gets hit with the ladder.

- The bear after being defeated is now walking around. This shows Person Vs Nature because now they are safe from the bear after fighting it. They are also still close to conatct with it. The bear is walking around while Lyddie is hoping nothing will break.
- This shows Person Vs Nature evennthough they did not inflict pain on the bear they are still against the bear and are fighting against it. The pot going on its head is just helping them while they ace it. In this scene the bear jhas the porridge kettle on its head and is running all over the place. On page 3 of the book it says, "He thrust his head deep into the kettle and howled with pain as his nose met the boiling porridge." This comic shows the bear in serious pain.

- To clear confusion the speech ubble is being said inside the house. This is the end of the conflict since noew they have faced nature in the form of the bear and the bear walked away hurt. They laugh but, their mom thinks it was the devil like in the book.
