  • Good Morning learners, please look at the shapes that are on the board and write down the name of the shapes that you know on your whiteboards.

  • What difference do you see between the 2-D shapes and the 3-D shapes?
  • Good, now I'm going to give each group 3-D shape and each group has to tell me what 2-D shape you see.
  • One is flat and the other one is not.
  • A 3-D shape has many sides and a 2-D shape doesn't.

  • That right, a cube has 6 sides and the sides are equal. A triangular prism has 5 sides and 3 of the sides are rectangles and the other 2 are triangles.
