- 1858 - IRB (Irish Republican Brotherhood )A group of people who aimed to overthrow the English Rule in Ireland by force. They were people who tried to fight got Irish Independence.
- The Irish Republican Brotherhood had planned and staged many attacks on the English, such as the Easter Rising and Irish War of Independence.
- The 1798 Rebellion - It was a rebel against the English rule, aiming to get/receive a united Ireland free from the rule. They had gotten defeated at the Battle of Vinegar Hill.
- Easter Rising - While world war I was still going on, the Irish were impatient for the home rule to be granted/given to them, resulting in the attack on the British. The rebels finally surrendered on the 29th of April after being strongly attacked by the British forces in Dublin. More than 2,000 people were injured, 450 civilians were killed, and 15 leaders of the rebellion were executed in public.
- War of Independence - A fight between the Irish Republican Army and the British forces, which included the British Army, the Quasi-military Royal Irish Constabulary, the Auxiliaries and the Ulster Special Constabulary, which was held from 1919 to 1921.
