- Alvarez De Pineda was an explorer who lived from unknown-1520, His goal was to explore the coast of the Gulf Of Mexico in hope of finding a water passage to commute the area. His impact was more discovery of our coast.
- Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca was a Spanish explorer of the new world and one of the few survivors of the Narvarez expedition. He was captured by the Karankwa tribe where their boat had been shipwrecked. Later he arrived in Mexico and came back with stories of his expedition there which included stories of a city of Gold.

- Fransisco Vazquez de Coronado was sent out of Spain as a Spanish explorer with the hopes of finding riches. Coronado failed the country because they returned with no silver of gold. They were the first Europeans to discover both the grand canyon and the pacific ocean. There was about 1000 men who went on this expedition.
- La Selle was a famous french explorer who arrived in Texas in the year of 1685. He arrived at Matagorda Bay. He traveled with his ship called the Belle. Only 7 of the men surived the expedition. He was later killed by his own men.
- If I were an explorer I would be in pursuit of finding land with green fertile grass near a large water source. I would end up discovering the islands of Hawaii and would be with 50 other explorers with me on my expedition. My accomplishment would be finding a green fertile area with perfect soil for farming and agriculture. We would become the first people of Hawaii.
- 3 reasons for exploration would be 1. In search of riches for self or for country.2. For claim of more land3. In pursuit of going to one place in search of something (Usually resulted in the exploration of somewhere else.)
