How could you do this? How could you just break our happy family so easily like we don't matter?! We're a part of your life, too, aren't we?! (After she speaks) Her name is MAVIS! We decided on that together. At least give her a LITTLE recognition and love and call her by her name! (After she speaks) Wait, Kristine! KRISTINE!
Waah! Waah!
You keep saying, "we". There IS no "we", Robert! You're using the baby to guilt-trip me! (After he speaks) Ugh, you're delaying my flight! I have to go, and I WON'T waste more time squabbling with YOU of all people. Have a nice life, Robert. *walks away*
Um...1 deluxe house pizza, 2 Big Legs, and 2 Kiddie's Meals. (After she speaks) Yup, exactly right. (After she speaks) Thank you!
Mavis Fairydust Thornton cried and screamed as her parents shouted at each other before the mother stormed off to her car. Mavis was now only left with her heartbroken, angry father. She had no idea how her life would get MUCH crazier if that were possible.
(After he speaks) It was good. (After he speaks) How was your job? (After he speaks) Before you go on, Dad, is something wrong? You look sad, and kind of...desperately shocked. (After he speaks) -WHAT?! YOU WERE FIRED?! (After he speaks) -AGAIN, WHAT?! HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?! SHE LEFT ME! sHE LEFT US!! AND YOU STILL THINK WE CAN RELY ON HER?! NO WAY!
Hey, Vis! How was work? (After she speaks) Good, good. (After she speaks) Eh, it was okay. So, Mavis, I've been trying to speak to you about something, but I never got the chance. (After she speaks) I'm glad you noticed. Vis, the company I work for...it's going bankrupt. I was...I was fired today-(After she speaks) Let me finish. I was fired today. You said you're going to Duke University School of Medicine tomorrow, right? It just so happens that that place is near your mom's house. So, I thought that until I can support us again, you could go live with-
(After she speaks) Sure, Vis. (After she speaks) Anytime, Vis.
Looking ahead 16 years, Mavis is now almost an adult and attending high school. She enjoys participating in school plays, using her extensive knowledge of the subject. Her passion for reading has allowed her to acquire this knowledge, as it serves as an escape from her dull and unhappy life. Through her books, she can enter a world filled with magic, and mystery.
Dad, can you help me carry my stuff to the taxi? (After he speaks) Thanks, Dad!
Wow, being the daughter of the famous Kristine Sutherland finally comes in handy! Though I still don't like her or the way she completely demolished the relationship between dad and her.
After Mavis came home, she had a talk with her dad. Turns out, her dad lost his job! This was ESPECIALLY bad because there was only 1 adult supporting 2 people. Mavis doesn't earn enough to use her money, so she has to stay elsewhere. Namely, her mom's house. However, Mavis is completely against this idea and refuses.
Mavis' dream was finally coming true! It was 6:45 on a Monday, and Mavis was just leaving. Her father helped her carry her luggage to her taxi, and off she went! With wet eyes, Robert Thornton thought what every parent has thought at one point or another: They grow up so fast.
Since Mavis' mom owned a private jet, she got the whole plane to herself! Being the daughter of a CEO and all. Mavis enjoyed all the luxuries that came with a private jet to the fullest.
