- exposition: The story is set in Jaffa, Israel after Yoni just moved there. Yoni is a young man who is making a documentary. Sergei is an older guy who grew up in Russia having bad experiences with the KGB.
- inciting incident: Yoni is making a documentary to eventually sell to a news source. He is asking people if they had a magic talking goldfish what they would wish for and he asks Sergei who wants to be left alone.
- I don't want to use it on this though
- you can use your last wish
- rising action 1: A kid (yoni) with a camera goes to Sergei's door and is trying to film him answering questions to put on tv. Sergei is simply not interested. He shoves the camera to let him know but the boy gets passed him and enters his house.
- rising action 2: The kid sees a goldfish sitting on his counter and starts to film out of enjoyment. Sergei is getting much more up set now, saying it's just an average fish and hits yoni on the head to where he falls and starts bleeding his his floor.
- climax: We soon find out the fish IS magic that he has and the fish is asking Sergei if he wants to use his last wish to save this boy. His previous 2 wishes saved is sisters life and helped out a boy's life. If he just calls the hospital they would arrest him for murder.
- resolution: Sergei didn't give up his wish. He settled on taking the boy out at night when he's fishing and the world is asleep he would dump him to never be seen again. The fish asked why he wouldn't give up his wish and Sergei simply didn't want to be alone and loose his friend that he could talk to everyday.
