- Frame 1

- Romeo enters the Capulet Orchard outside the castle. He sees Juliet look out her bedroom window. He yells Julie how beautiful she is and that the moon is jealous of her.
- Frame 4
- (to Juliet) I trust your words. Just call me your love, and I will take a new name. From now on I will never be Romeo again.
- To himself Romeo says that Juliet is that of an angel in aspect of sound and beauty
- Frame 5
- Not knowing that Romeo could hear her she complains why did they have to have fighting families and that he should change his name then she will change her name so they can be together.
- Frame 6
- (not knowing Romeo hears her) Oh, Romeo, Romeo, why do you have to be Romeo? Forget about your father and change your name. Or else, if you won't change your name, just swear you love me and I'll stop being a Capulet

- Romeo tells Juliet that he was able to enter the orchard without being seen with his love for her.
- I flew over these walls with the light wings of love. Stone walls can't keep love out. Whatever a man in love can possibly do, his love will make him try to do it. Therefore your relatives are no obstacle.
- Juliet states that she is blushing because of the affection that Romeo has showed. Juliet is worried that Romeo is lying about loving her but he promises by the moon that he loves her.
