- According to paragraph 100-103 one lesson Antonio and Felix learn throughout the story is that a true friendship can never be broken because "No matter what the decision, they knew they would always be champions to each other." This evidence supports the universal theme of true friendship because even though they both wanted to win the fight and it might have come between them for a minute, in the end they knew they were always champions to each other.
