- Inigo as a young man was very outspoken and was a ladies man. Ever since he was a young child, Inigo had always dreamt of serving his country. He always was a party man and was in many fights in his younger years. Inigo's dream finally came to reality and he became a solider.
- Being in touch with God/ New Life
- On May 20, 1521, while fighting for the city of Pamplona against the French, Inigo was hit by a cannonball causing a bad fracture to his right leg and wounds to his left leg. Inigo was so determined all the time that he gained the respect from the other soldiers because of his bravery. This help him as in this time of pain they helped him and gave him the cared that he needed
- Inigo Life Work/ New Life
- Inigo spent several days at the hospital recovering. In this period of time Inigo became very bored which made him seek different forms of entertainment. Inigo red two books that were available. "The life of Christ " and a book on the lives of the Saints. This made him think of his actions in a different perspective. Inigo while reading this book self reflected on his actions and attitude as well and made him consider changing things.
- Inigo after the recovery at the hospital felt o connection with God by reading the two books. He was inspired by the Saints and Gods way so he decided to give all his belongings away and give them to the poor.He spent time in a cave reflecting on his actions, he prayed a lot and reached out to God during this time.
- Inigo eventually went back to school and University and then spent the rest of his life living the word of God by helping others less fortunate. Inigo eventually passed away on 31 July 1556. Inigo eventually became a saint name, ST Ignatius Of Loyola
