- Good morning class. Today we are going to go over the importance of seeds dispersing away from the parent plant.

- Okay class what are some resources all living things need to survive ?

- Just like animals would move to another area to find sufficient resources like water, food, shelter, and space. Seeds also need those same resources, but you may think, how is this possible? Well, in a bit I'll be explaining how. In the mean time, please get ready to do an outside activity and each group get a bag.
- Okay class, so in your teams try finding 5-6 seeds from different parts of the grass field. As you choose them think about where are the seeds located in the plant? What animals do they see? Do they think they could help spread seeds? How? Why would a seed be shaped like that?
- One more minute class, we will be coming back after our class discussion for one more activity .
- Look at this seed, Tony. I wonder how it got here.
- Okay, class, please share the types of seeds that each group discovered, and we'll talk about which dispersal method each seed uses.
