- Odysseus is never completely right in this situation. He stole food from the Cyclops and then stabbed him in the eye. Odysseus thought that all people should welcome them no matter where they are. "We Cyclops care not a whistle for your thundering Zeus." -Holmer 1116
- Cyclops cures originally "Nohbody" but Odysseus gets cocky and tells them who he is, where he lives, and who his parents and family are. Odysseus sails away on his little boat away from the island of Cyclops. And Cyclops pray to Poseidon to curse Odysseus and to never return home.
