  • Out of the thin air she hears something then she is kidnapped by Hades God of the underworld ruler of all dark and gloomey he claimed he wanted persephone to be his wife and took her to the underworld.

  • Persephone hasnt been back for a long time and demeter ha grown sad and since she is the earth godess means that when she turned sad the earth grows cold and dull. The first winter had fallen.
  • Demeter had to take action so she went and visited zeus god of gods and god of thunder. Demeter threatend to make the earth stay cold and dull. Zues said that he will get Demeter's daughter Persephone back if she would keep the earth green and nice.
  • Zues goes down to the underworld to fetch Persephone and finds out that while persephone was in the underworld she ate pomegranite seeds which means she is not able to leave the underworld but Hades and Zues came to an agreement that how many pomegranite seeds she ate is how many months she stays in the underworld
  • Persephone had to spend three months with Hades and had the rest of the year with he rdear mother Demeter and win sje left Demeter to go to the underworld the world grew dark, brown, and cold.
