- Once upon a time, there lived a lion who ruled the forest. After eating his meal, the lion fell asleep under a tree.
- Suddenly, a mouse saw the lion and thought it would be fun to play on him.
- The mouse began running up and sitting on the sleeping lion.
- The lion woke up angry with a loud roar and wanted to swallow the mouse.
- Oh King, I am very scared. Please forgive me and don't eat me! I shall never forget it, maybe one day I can help you.
- A few days later, hunters set up a trap and caught the lion. The lion started to roar loudly and tried to escape.
- When the hunters went to the village to bring a cart to transport the lion, the mouse and the other animals heard the roar.
- The King is in trouble. I must return the favour.
- The mouse climbed up the trap and used his sharp little teeth to bite through the ropes.
- Don't worry, my King! I will set you free.
