- Enlightenment philosophies
- The taxation was so unfair, and excessive. They relied on the third estate, while the third estate were peasants so they didn’t have a say in how the government worked. However the people in the first estate didn't worry about taxes since they had lots of money.
- Estates General Meeting
- The starvation that occurred before the french revolution was due to severe winters that damaged the farmers' crops. It later meant that bread prices were rising and that infuriated the peasants
- Storming of the Bastille
- The enlightenment was a movement that really challenged or confronted the old ways of thinking and motivated thorough ideas. The ideals of life liberty and equality by John Locke really set off the overthrow of Louis XVI and going forward with the french revolution.
- Women's march to Versailles
- The Estates general meeting was a meeting regarding the three estates which were the clergy, nobility, and the peasants. Being a part of the three estates was a very important thing given that it determined a person's rights, and status in society. During this meeting they discussed the problems that the French government were having in regards to financial problems.
- The storming of the Bastille consisted of the National assembly and revolutionist attacking the prison in regards to King Louis XVI sending troops to Paris. So all in all the Bastille was attacked by an angry and aggressive mob in order to get weapons and ammo.
- Women were mainly seen during the march to Versailles. Although it was mainly women there were also men leading the crowds. They were concerned and didn't like the fact that bread prices were rising and they had a shortage.
