- When Ponyboy got home Darry was sitting in the chair waiting for him and when Ponyboy walked in Darry got very mad and wasn't having it. "'I didn't mean to!'" Darry shouted and I almost shook"(50).
- Ponyboy was very emotional that Darry hit him because no one has ever hit Ponyboy. He is now trying to go get johnny and the plan is to run away.
- Ponyboy gets Johnny and they start running down the street to go run away from everyone. Ponyboy wanted to go to the Country.
