- Saturday night, brothers John and Tim go to the bar for a drink. Tim orders a cocktail while John chugs down multiple bottles of VB.
- Come on Tim! Lets drink until the bartender runs out!
- Calm down before you get us kicked out John!
- After their night at the bar, it is clear that John is drunk after multiple VB's, however he manages to convince Tim that he's sober enough to drive them both home.
- Come on Tim! I didn't even drink that much! Only about 7 or 8 bottles. I'm sober enough to drive us both home.
- Fine, just make sure you drive carefully and keep your eyes on the road.
- Drink driving is a serious offence and is punishable by license removal, heavy fine, or imprisonment.
- On the road, Tim sees a billboard with a warning that if drivers under the influence of alcohol are caught they'll face serious penalties. Tim mentions this to John, starting to regret letting him take the wheel. John responds with reassurance, saying that everything is fine and home is not far away.
- I shouldn't be letting you drive right now. You could lose your license or face heavy fines if we're caught.
- Calm down Tim. I haven't crashed so far have I? Home ain't far away from us as well.
- Suddenly, John's vision starts to blur and also starts to experience nausea. The car starts driving recklessly, ramming into bins, cutting through lanes, and drifting left-right, and center.
- I'm...so...dizzy..
- John! JOHN! Pull over NOW! You're not sober at all!
- After minutes of reckless driving through the city, they were being pursued by the Police. Tim then forced the car to pull over.
- PULL OVER!
- Damnit John! I told you to drive carefully!
- Do you realize how much that is? One 255ml glass of beer is 1 standard drink in Australia. He's had 10 times that amount!
- Your brother's license will be revoked and I'll be taking him in to face imprisonment for 3 months. You'll receive a fine of $1500 for driving under the influence.
- The Police Officer scolds both John and Tim for their actions. John's license is suspended and the brothers have been fined a heavy $2500 for drink driving and other additional charges involving property damage.
- I'm so sorry for all this, Officer. My brother drank about up to 9 beers or more!
