  • Alonso, King of Naples, Sebastian, Ferdinand, Antonio, Gonzalo, and others on a ship in stormy weather. They are trying to figure out, with the help of Boatswain what to do since they are in a storm.
  • ´´Heigh, my hearts! Cheerly, cheerly, my hearts! Yare,yare! Take in the topsail! Tend to th’ master’s whistle!4Blow tillthou burst thy wind, if room enough!´´ (Act 1 Scene 1).
  • Prospero and Miranda watch the shipwreck that happened because of the storm. Miranda is scared, thinking the storm was caused by her father's magic. But, Prospero ensures her nothing is wrong.
  • ´If by your art, my dearest father, you havePut the wild waters in this roar, allay them´´ (Act 1 Scene 2).
  • ´´No harm.I have done nothing but in care of thee...´´ (Act 1 Scene 2).
  • Off the boat, Miranda and Ferdinand fall in love right away. But, Prospero hates the idea and wants to lock him up. Miranda is upset with her father.

  • While Caliban is drunk, he plots with Trinculo and Stephano to kill Prospero so that Stephano will become king. 
  • ´´When the butt is out, we will drink water. Not a drop before. Therefore bear up and board 'em.—Servant- monster, drink to me´´ (Act 3 Scene 2).
