- Trapping was always a very hard thing to do, and they were always vulnerable to attacks from the native tribes, luckily some of those tribes were friendly and decided to help the mountain men to trap the animals.
- Challenges of the Season
- The clothing that the mountain men wore was always designed to help them survive in the wilderness for a few years. And Without the supplies they need, they wouldn't be able to survive or do their job to hunt the animals.All the stuff they bring and or purchase is all the stuff they will need to have to be able to stay alive and hunt down those animals.
- The Rendezvous was always very helpful for the mountain men since they only come down once a year so that they could trade furs for supplies they will need until the next year when they will trade again. After a while, the rendezvous became a 1-month-long carnival where people go wild.
- The changes of the season can be incredibly hard on the mountain men, especially in the winter. During the winter, the mountain men barely survive because it always depends on the weather and the availability of food, which is why winter is their worst season for trapping. Spring is they're the best time for trapping since all the animals still have all their winter fur on and haven't shed yet, which make it a great payday for the mountain men indeed.
