- On the sidewalk of Albert street, a young five-year-old homeless boy was beginning a woman for twenty-five cents.
- BRODIES
- The woman continued walking and pretended not to hear him. Her daughter ( Angie ) asked her mom about the boy who was begging for twenty-five cents.The woman explained to her daughter that is no good for children to beg.
- GO-MACS
- " Look how Sharon stay now,noh. She used to do so good for she and that lee bwai. Watch how rock got ah. Mm-hmmm. Rock is a bad ting."
- But because of her daughter's look in her eyes, she decided to give the boy some money, and instead of twenty-five cents, she gave the boy a five-dollar bill.

- " Go ask that nice laydi now."
- The boy, as well as the woman and her daughter( Angie), went their own separate ways. Later, the woman and her daughter were coming out of a department store when the daughter noticed the boy and she pointed out her mom the boy to whom she gave the five dollars.
- " Ma .See the lee bwai there."
- They followed the boy to a woman who was standing in front of Go-macs.The woman was wearing a pink floral bra and had her matching pink underwear pulled way up over the waist of her battered jeans.A woman ( passerby) noticed the woman staring and interfering and she remarked that Sharon used to do so well for her and the little boy, but drugs lead her up to this point.
- The boy gave Sharon the money. Sharon was happy with the five dollars handed to her, smiling with a wide gap between the single remaining left tooth and the single remaining right tooth. She tucked the money in front of her matching pink underwear.Then she pointed at a nice-looking woman and the woman could imagine hearing Sharon say to go ask the nice lady for money.
