  • CLASSICAL CONDITIONING
  • CONDITIONED RESPONSE???/
  • /HOW DOES IT WORK?
  • /STIMULUS???
  • WHAT IS CLASSICAL CONDITIONING?!/
  • Before we get started a brief introduction about classical conditioning would suffice. Classical conditioning is a learning process where it happens unconsciously, it is through a response from an accidental stimulus. It is a simple learning process where a living organism is
  • BRIEF INTRODUCTION:
  • taught to anticipate a certain response to an event, based on a similar past event that occurred, which then reminds the organism, which will then evoke a specific response. By reading this comic, it will show an example of this type of learning.
  • Step one-->
  • Both unconditioned stimulus and response happens out of ordinary, it isn’t evoked and should be out of a person's control, which means it’s natural. An unconditioned stimulus can bring out an unconditioned response, which is the response elicited by an unconditioned stimulus.
  • STEP 1:
  • Humans, animals, and all kinds of living things experience these, for instance if it were a cat salivating from seeing a piece of fish, or seeing a pointer light.
  • PLOT
  • It occurs naturally
  • AHHHH!!!!!GOOD DOGGY GOOD!!HELP!!!
  • BRIEF INTRODUCTION:
  • STEP 2:
  • When speaking about neutral stimuli it is something that does not necessarily have a response, however when it is linked with the unconditioned response, both start to have this relationship with each other and begin to connect.
  • Step 1: Identify the unconditioned stimulus and response by seeing the actions taken when a certain event happens.
  • PLOT
  • Mia loves walking around her neighborhood, one day a dog from a house in their neighbourhood jumped the fence and started chasing mia. Whenever she walks around her neighborhood and sees the house she starts feeling anxious and her palms get sweaty. The unconditioned stimulus is the dog, and the unconditioned response is her feeling anxious and sweaty.
  • *WOOF WOOF!
  • Step 2:Next up is linking a neutral stimulus with the unconditioned response
  • When Mia got chased she saw red townhouses in her neighborhood. These red townhouses become the neutral stimulus in this event. She usually felt safe around this neighbourhood, but then she started to feel all anxious and sweaty whenever she saw it because it is where the dog lived near.
