- Problem arises, hand gets scratched. Magnifying glass shows bacteria/ antigens entering wound. Narrator explains that this is a problem.
- Showing formation of memory T-cells to help prevent future infections.
- Bacteria is shown entering wound. Antibody proteins shown sending off alarm signals to the rest of the body.
- Oh no! The antigens have invaded your body! But here comes the antibodies to sound the alarm!
- Immune cells attack antibodies, each using their own special abilities. Antigens are being destroyed by immune cells.
- Backup has arrived! B-Cells and T-Cells are here to destroy these antigens. And macrophages are here to eat them whole!
- T-Cells are shown forming surface receptors for antigens. It is explained that the body stores these memory T-Cells to be prepared in case of future infection by this specific antigen.
- There are no more invaders left! Now some of the T-Cells will become memory T-Cells, so if this antigen ever attacks again, you'll be ready.
