- "Oh, that's weird that someone in the Marcus family would be Rebecca Jane, just like Mom."
- At Bran's and Britt's Rooms
- "You can't lie to me anymore, I know the truth. Mr. and Mrs. Marcus are Mom's parents, aren't they?"

- "Yes. Mr. and Mrs. Marcus are Mom's parents."
- This is Britt in her brother's closet with a picture of what she thinks is her grandfather, and this picture was titled "Goofy Pop Pop". This picture is where it all started.
- At Bran and Britt's Rooms
- "Why- why didn't you want me to know? Were you and Mom ...ashamed of me?"

- "No, no, nobody's ashamed of you,"
- This is Britt in her mom's room where she found one of her mom's college papers that had her mom's name on it , Rebecca Jane Marcus.
- At Bran and Britt's Rooms
- "What?"
- "She doesn't know whose house this is," "She doesn't know who the Marcuses really are. That's why I said they spelled their name M-A-R-Q-U-I-S, and pronounced it a little differently..."
- This is Britt finally coming to the conclusion that Mr. and Mrs. Marcus are her mom's' parents. This is also Bran who is finally confessing that Mr. and Mrs. Marcus are their mom's' parents.
- In the Kitchen
- "But why?" Why didn't you just tell Mom the truth?"
- "She wouldn't have wanted anything to do with them. And we needed this house . Don't you see how awful Sunset Terrace was? Didn't you hear the gunshots?"
- In this picture Britt is asking Bran if the reason him and their mom was not telling her was because they were ashamed of her. Bran then tells Britt that their mom doesn't know about this either
- "Then why....."
- "Mom doesn't know either."
- Britt is so shocked! Bran is telling her that their mom doesn't know anything at all about this situation.
- "Yeah, I did."
- In this last picture, Britt is confused on why Bran hadn't told their mom. Then Bran reminds Britt of how awful Sunset Terrace was.
- "Remember how much she hates her parents?"
