- The Paris treaty ended the French and Indian War, the American stage over the course of a nine-year war battle between France and Great Britain. Spice: Political War

- Revenues were increased to help with the costs of defending the British. The angry colonists invalidated the Stamp Act by refusing to use the stamps as well as by riots, stamp burning, and terrorizing colonial stamp wholesalers. Spice: Social freedom and rights & Economic money and capital.
- Intolerable Acts
- The British Massacre occurred when a smaller British army that was threatened by mob harassment opened fire and killed five people. These soldiers were charged with murder and were given a civilian trial.Spice: Social freedom & rights.

- People were protesting the tax on tea as well as the people from Boston who boarded ships dressed up in order to dump £10,000 worth of tea into the harbor.Spice: Social freedom & rights
- Due to the British ruling, taxes became raised. They were meant to punish the Massachusetts colonists for their actions in the Tea Party protest in reaction to changes in taxes made by the BritishSpice: Social freedom & rights
