- France's tax system was based on tradition and custom, and many thought that it was unfairly applied.The three unfair taxes were the taille, gabelle, and vingtième. Third Estate wanted to set up a constitutional government that would make the clergy and nobility pay taxes, too.

- Women's March to Versailles
- The Estates-General was the name of the pre-Revolutionary French assembly.Jacques created this meeting in which deputies of the Third Estate vowed to create a new constitution for France.Also all the members of this Assembly shall immediately take a solemn oath never to separate.
- July 14,1789 about 900 Persians came together at the courtyard of Bastille,they stormed the Bastille.They were fighting for hours until the prison warden surrendered.They cut off his head and demolished the Bastille.

- Thousands of Parisian women were armed with broomsticks,pitchforks,pistols,and other weapons.Some women met with the king and told them about their children starving.The women insisted for the royal family to return to Paris,so they did and carried wagon loads of flour from the palace storehouse.
