  • Act 4, Scene 1
  • "These many, then, shall die"
  • Act 4, Scene 2
  • "How he received you"

  • Act 4, Scene 2
  • "you have done me wrong."
  • Antony, Octavius, and Lepidus meet at Antony's house to discuss the list of senators they are going to assassinate. Once Lepidus leaves Antony explains to Octavius how he will deny Lepidus any real power once the conflict is over.
  • Act 4, Scene 3
  • Brutus, with his army, meets Lucilius in the field. He asks Lucilius how his meeting with Cassius went to which he learns Cassius is in a bad mood.
  • Act 4, Scene 3
  • "For shame, you generals, what do you mean?"
  • Cassius arrives at Brutus' camp and appears to be furious with Brutus, saying he has wronged him.
  • Act 4, Scene 3
  • "thou shalt see me at Philippi."
  • Cassius and Brutus have a heated argument, and trade arguments and threats. Brutus reminds Cassius how he has still not sent him the gold he needs for his army, but they eventually make up.
  • "you yourselfAre much condemned to have an itching palm,"
  • A poet rushes into the camp and tries to convince Cassius and Brutus to stop fighting. The poet is thrown out, but Cassius and Brutus make up and Brutus tells Cassius about how Portia died from eating a hot coal.
  • The ghost of Caesar appears to Brutus and warns him that he will see him in Philippi, which startles him so he tells his servants to let Cassius know that he should march first.
