  • Hey Alizor, are you ready for our presentation in class together?
  • Yes, I’m really excited to do it with you!
  • Yes, and today we are going to present our presentation about Magnetic fields.
  • Hi my name is Jordan and this is my partner Alizor.
  • Now, there are four different types of properties. First is Magnetic materials. It has magnets attract strongly only certain materials, which are called ferro-magnetics. Second is Magnetic poles. It has the poles which are the places in a magnet to which magnetic materials are attracted. Third are North and south poles. If a magnet is supported so that it can swing in a horizontal place it comes to rest with one pole, the N pole, always pointing roughly towards the Earth’s North Pole. And lastly fourth is Law magnetic poles. If the N pole of a magnet is brought near the N pole of another magnet, repulsion occurs. Two S poles also repel. By contrast, N and S poles always attract.
  • After that we have soft and hard materials. Magnetic materials such as iron that magnetise easily but lose their magnetism are said to be soft. While, those such as steel that are harder to magnetise than iron but stay magnetised are hard.
  • Here are ways to map magnetic fields. The ways is by placing the plotting compass in adjacent positions in the field it is possible to map out some magnetic lines of force. Using a plotting compass allows the direction of the field to be identified, with the needle of the compass pointing along the field lines from north to south.
  • Next is magnetic field. The space surrounding a magnet where it produce a magnetic force is called magnetic field. Magnetic field has a direction and to represent the field by the lines of force. It has been decided that the direction of the field at any point should be the direction of the force on a N pole.
  • Next is about the neutral point. What is neutral point in magnetic field?, so here is the definition. A neutral point of Magnet is a point at which the resultant magnetic field is zero. In general, the neutral point is obtained when a horizontal component of the earth's field is balanced by the produced by the magnet.
  • Thank you for listening to the best presentation, Hope you have a fetch life!
  • Finally, It's over !
  • I know right.
