- My parents signed me up for basketball, and I had walk to my school on a Saturday. I brought my basketball with me, just in case they didn't have one. This scene's tone is being nervous. The foreground is the grass and the walking path, which leads to the doors of the school, and me walking on the path. The midground is the school, and the stairs leading to the school. The background is the clear blue sky that's behind the school. This shows that there is nervousness because this is my first time playing any kind of sport on a team. and walking into the building is a very nervous feeling.
- The Game
- While I was making my way up the stairs, I heard sneakers squeaking on the floor. I kept walking, and the sounds just got louder, and louder as I kept walking up the stairs.
- Love For The Game
- Once I walked all the way up the stairs, I got to the basketball court. I looked around and saw the big kids playing half-court pickup basketball. I was amazed at how good they were. It seemed like they were profesionals.
- When we all got sorted into our teams, we started to play. The other team was significantly bigger than us, and they were also older. We had a lot of fun, and we lost. It was a great experience. Me and my friend Grayson Cronin (also goes to DLS) stayed after to work the scoreboard.
- Ever since that moment, I've fallen in love with the game of basketball. I play every chance I get, and it never gets boring. I play basketball with my friends at the park, and it's always a great time.
