- Jesus was a famous teacher of god who wanted to become a christian.
- The Romans were angry about this because they believed in many gods, so as a punishment they made Jesus wear a headband made of thorns and they crucified him.
- On a Friday, Jesus was forced to climb a hill with a cross on his back, his hands got nailed to the cross and he was so tired he died.
- Jesus' body was put into a big tomb and a humongous stone was rolled in front of it . A good friend Mary watched as Jesus died.
- On the Sunday of that week, Mary found that Jesus wasn't in his tomb and the stone had moved, Mary got worried.
- Mary found Jesus again and was so happy, delighted in fact and so were the whole community . This whole story is the reason why we celebrate Easter Sunday.
