  • Scene 1 : A Family Divided
  • Scene 2: Life at Camp
  • Scene 3: The Greatest Loss
  • Andrew has decided to fight with the Continenetal Army to gain his family independence from Britain. His wife Virginia will follow him. They leave behind their 3 children: Edith, Eleanor, and 3 month old Nathaniel with Virgina's sister, Carolina.
  • Scene 4: Saying Good-bye
  • Virginia is in charge of cooking food for the soldier which in this case is boiling down leather books for the soliders to gnaw on. She also cleans around camp and nurses ill soldiers.
  • Scene 5: Joining the Spy Network
  • Like many women at that time, Virgina would follow her husband to battle and watch the battle. In the Battle of New York, unfortunatly, Andrew was shot and killed as Virgina sat nearby.
  • Sence 6: A Family Reunited
  • Virgina has a small cermony for her late husband. She knew that she had to find a way to help the Patriots end this war so she could see her children again.
  • Virginia joined the New York spy network after her husband's death. She was extreeemly sucessful at relaying informaion to other spys and was never caught. She knew this was the only way that she would be free from the tyrany of Britain.
  • Finally after the war had ended and America had claimed its indepence she was reunited with her children who had grown up so much since she had to say good-bye to them. Her family remained in New York.
