  • The Mourning of a Poor Man
  • I'm dying of hunger and thirst. There's barely any food and my supply of water is vanishing before my eyes. If only my barren land would allow me to grow something to eat.
  • The Eagle's Attack
  • Oh no, that eagle is going to attack the sparrow.
  • The Healing of the Bird
  • Phew, you're recovering. Drink well!
  • Once upon a time, there a poor farmer who lived in a barren land. It produced little to no food. He slept in a small shack that had one room, a tiny bathroom, and a minuscule amount of space for a kitchen. He had no conversations with the outside world for a long time because he had no friends and his relatives lived far away. He could only hope for a miracle to occur and for him to get some food and friends.
  • The Bird's Kind Offering
  • The man watched the bird standing in a tree. Suddenly, an eagle was racing from the sky coming towards the sparrow's direction. The sparrow tried its best to outfly the eagle, however, the eagle hit the bird with its wing. The sparrow was badly injured and needed help.
  • Hoping for a Miracle
  • The man immediately went to his shack. He seized a cloth and a bowl of water for the bird. The man poured water slowly onto the bird. After five hours, the bird had woken up, he gave the bird the remainder of the water and wrapped the bird with a cloth to dry it.
  • A Man of Millions
  • Once, the bird drank and bathed with the water, it flew away. This made the farmer frown since he was alone again. Eventually, the bird returned back with three seeds. The man took the seeds and thanked the bird. Again, the bird flew off.
  • Oh, what is this? Oh these are seeds! Thank you little friend!
  • The man contemplated whether to plant the seeds because he didn't think the seeds would grow into plants. The man didn't even know what type of seeds they were. However, he decided to plant it because it was a gift from the bird. He prayed that at least one of the three seeds would grow into a plant.
  • Hopefully, the seeds will grow on this barren land.
  • The man returned to the field, where he planted the seeds, and to his impress, he grew pumpkins. Not only was there one pumpkin, but there were eleven, and more were growing. The man cut open all the pumpkins and made pies for the entire town. The man learned that the seeds, the bird had given him were magic seeds. These magic seeds grew an endless amount of pumpkins. He always shared whatever food he had grown and was never hungry. Forever, he was fortunate of how the bird helped his life.
  • Thank god, I have food to eat.
