- I spoke to the little children asking "do you know who the Holy Family is?" waiting for a response, the boy in the white shirt responded "Is it the family with Mary, Joseph, And Jesus?".
- Correct! Now, let me explain the story and how it goes.
- Do any of you kids know who the Holy Family is?
- Is it the Family with Mary, Joseph, And Jesus?
- It all started when Joseph and Mary were together. Joseph did carpenting as a job while Mary stayed at home. But one special day, Mary was announced by an angel that she will have a baby, but she was confused because she was a virgin. but the angel said it would be from god and announced that she will give birth to the worlds saviour. Mary was in disbelief and thought it was a miracle. when Mary told joseph that she was having a baby Joseph didnt have a good feeling, because people who had babies before marriage were ashamed of in their village
- One day an angel popped up in his dreams and told Joseph that Jesus will be the saviour of the world and he is going to be the father of the soon to be saviour. of course Joseph could not believe because it would be a miracle if that happened in his life. But Joseph's own thoughts could not stop his faith in what he was told and reunited with Mary. Mary was very happy about this
- 3 wise men was told the great news and told someone by the name of King Herod. king herod was jealous because there was a new king roaming around and king herod did not like that at all. so Herod told all three men to show him the new king and bring him into the castle. King herod had bad ideas.
- Joseph and Mary heard about what he was doing and so they had to hide and flee the city and move to Bethlehem. they traveled by donkey
