- Can I invite you over to my house, because I'm very curious about these kinds of events, and I would like to learn about any responses that people have with traumatizing experiences. Just like the one that just happened.
- Hey, kid wait up!! I just saw what happened, are you ok? I'm Amber by the way.
- Hi! I'm Hermes, and I think I'm fine, thanks.
- Ok, sure!
- Ooh!! Look at what I found! It is an article called "Mutants, Myth or Reality?" I think we might be onto something!!
- Sure!!
- Nice job!! I don't have anything else to do, do you want to go on an adventure to learn more and see if these mutants are real?
- Wait!! I think we found something!
- Ok!!
- Hello there!! I need to run a few tests, and if you turn out negative, you will be able to stay.
- On Olymichondriac, everything was normal, or was it? The skies were clear, it was nice and warm, and everyone was running around doing what they had to do. But for Hermes, a 13 year old boy, the was an ominous chill in the air. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong, and that this day was definitely not normal.
- Now that you mention it, yes, I have been feeling unusual. Is there something wrong with me?!
- Yes sir.
- Unfortunately, yes there is an unknown substance in you. For now, I do not think its deadly. I think that it could really be helpful. There is only one way to find out what this substance does. I'm going to give you a special sword. I only want you to touch mutants with it, and you will not hurt anyone with it. Do you understand?
- So Mr. Hermes, I have a few questions to ask you. Have you felt anything unusual in you?
- Ok then we can get started with the basics of sword fighting. The sword is right behind you.
- Hermes was walking down the street when a weird looking man, broke out of the window in front of him. The man looked very angry, and was yelling at Hermes. Hermes was terrified, and started to run the other way.
- Come at me you mean, old, mutants!
- Hermes then runs into a girl, and the girl asks him to wait up.
- And...Bam! Done, wait, why aren't they fighting back?
- In Amber's house, they discover that there might be mutants in their world.
- Uh-oh...Whats happening to him?!
- AHHHHHH!!!!!
- Hermes and Amber decide to venture out of their city, and try to discover more about these mutants. They wanted to see how they could help these people that had been horrifically changed. Suddenly, they discovered a building that looked to be top secret. It was camouflaged, and looked very well funded.
- That was so cool, I can't believe Hermes, the boy right next to me has powers!!
- Hermes and Amber enter this strange building and to their suprise, they see a man waiting for them! He asks them to sit down, because he has to make sure that they are not mutants.
- As the test results start to come in, the strange man starts to make a confused face, and starts to question Hermes.
- BZZT BZZT BZZT. BZZT BZZT BZZT.BZZT BZZT BZZT.
- Hermes, Amber, and this mysterious man that they have grown to trust, are now venturing out into the wild, where they find another hidden base, that looks completely alien to the other buildings in Olymichondriac. They encounter mutants guarding this strange building.
- One of the symbols was a person. This person was Amber. She was symbolic to Hermes because she was the first person that showed Hermes, that he was loved, and that she treated him like everyone else. Other people looked away from Hermes, and were very mean to him, while Amber was the outlier. This is why Amber is very symbolic to Hermes.
- Hermes does as he was told, and only gently touches these mutants. They try to fight back, but for some reason, they were very disoriented, and very unorganized.
- After Hermes touches one of the mutants, the mutants starts transforming, but transforming into what?
- After they defeat the mutants at that building, they come to rest at home, and recall all the fun they had during their adventure.
- I wonder where I got these powers from..
- Amber ends up inviting Hermes to live with her, since he has a very run-down apartment, and their relationship grows from there. They end up being recognized from the town as heroes.
- Congratulations, Hermes and Amber!!
- The settle into their new home, when they receive a mysterious call...
