I 'm glad you like it! It is always my job to prepare good food.
Oh my, I love how you prepared this!
Well, growing up, I always loved making food and would get compliments on my cooking. I  was able to prepare quality food that was fresh and learnt new skills each time I tried something new! I figured it was the perfect job that would allow me to be creative and make whatever I wanted. That's why I decided to become a chef!
You know, I really would love it if you could teach me more about your job!
I went to Algonquin Campus Ottawa to study culinary arts and food science! The program lasted 4 academic years until I got my degree. You can find more information about it and apply on Ontariocolleges.ca!  However, I did take a few short courses and cooking classes before I applied, and would recommend the same for anyone interested.
Where did you complete training?
Well, for my apprenticeship, the program was cooperative education, which meant not only was I learning, but I was also getting paid! Because my training was advanced and I meet the requirements,  I am also certified Red Seal Trade! Which means my skills are recognized  throughout Canada, no matter where I go!
I am interested! What else is there to know?
On average, I work 12 hours a day. I do have the option to take some time off from work, but I prefer not to because I believe as a chef, it is my responsibility to be in the kitchen and do my job. I am very satisfied with my pay and believe my training enhanced my skills in  the best way, teaching me new techniques and  growing my passion for food immensely!
Work anywhere and get paid? That sounds amazing! One last question, how  many hours do you work?
It was my pleasure, I'm so glad I could  teach you something new today!
Thank you so much for answering my questions! I can't wait to do more research!
