  • this is 494 B.C.E when we were tired of the patricians and marched right out of the city because of those harsh evil selfish patricians. we only would come back if patricians gave them some rights. ''We left the city because they do not give us any rights. We do everything for them. the plebeians walked right out of the city because of the lack of power and went somewhere else

  • then we left out the city we settled by a nearby hill and refused until the patricians gave us the plebeians some power. without the plebians, the patricians were useless. The patricians had no choice but to compromise with the plebians because then the plebians would come back
  • The patricians agreed to us and allowed us to elect officials for Tribunes of the pleb. The tribunes represent us in the consul of the senate. The tribunes gained the power to overrule the actions of the senates. the number of the senate grew. We finally have power and we will grow more. In 451 B.C.E we also made the laws written on paper so the patricians could not change them at all
  • Finally, in 367 B.C.E, a new law said to be that one of the two consuls had to be one of us or plebeians. former consuls held seats in the senate, so this meant that we the plebeians could also be a senate.
  • In the year 287 B.C.E, we finally earned the right to pass the law for all Roman citizens, Now assemblies of all Roman citizens could approve or reject laws. These assemblies also nominated consuls, Tribunes and member of the senates the numbers of us and anti-patricians continued to increase.After 200 hundred years of hard and struggle we had won the rights for our equilaty
