- There’s but one down. The son is fled.
- Macbeth was wondering if everything the witches said will happen is true. Macbeth is worried that Banquo's children will overthrow him and take his place as king. So Macbeth hires murderers to kill Banquo and Fleance .
- O proper stuff!This is the very painting of your fear.
- Prithee, see there! Behold! Look! Lo! How say you?
- Macbeth wants Lady Macbeth to be kind to Banquo at laters feast. He wants her to be kind so no one will suspect that they had something to do with the killings of his children.
- How did you dareTo trade and traffic with Macbeth
- Which is worse, all you have doneHath been but for a wayward son
- Why, how now, Hecate! You look angerly.
- The murderers that Macbeth sent made it to Banquo and Fleance. They ended up killing Banquo. The only problem is that Fleance escaped.
- Only I sayThings have been strangely borne.
- The gracious DuncanWas pitied of Macbeth.
- Banquo walked too late
- When Macbeth enters the room to sit he sees the ghost of Banquo sitting in his spot. Lady Macbeth is telling him he's just imagining it and it's because of how scared he is.
- The witches have a meeting with Hecate. Hecate tells them to make him think he's someone he's not. Such as someone greater and wiser.
- Lennox is noticing that many strange things are going on. He's starting to get suspicious of Macbeth and everything that's going on might be because of him.
