- In the Paleolithic times, people had to follow the food to survive. In other words, they were nomads. The men had to go hunt for animals, and a lot of the time, came back hurt. The woman would go look for food just in case the man would not bring back any food. The woman also had to take care of their children. Usually, the baby would not survive. Sometimes, the children would also go looking for food. Life was very dangerous.
- Neolithic Times (Establishing Communities and making Laws)
- We have neighbors now!
- I say we make some laws!
- One day, people discovered farming! This changed peoples lives and the way they lived. When people discovered farming, they didn't need to go out to hunt in order for food. That meant that the men would not get hurt! The babies also got the food that they needed to survive. They learned to domesticate animals for food. This was called the Agricultural Revolution.
- Neolithic Times (Individual Jobs)
- From when the discovery of farming happened, things started improving. They didn't need to travel around for food, So they made permanent homes. This was called the Neolithic times.
- Neolithic Times (Trading)

- Once they made permanent homes, they established communities. This made life easier because they could all farm, and have enough food, and if someone attacked, It would be easier to defend themselves. Then, there was a problem. People were upsetting each other by their actions. They came up with a idea of making laws. everyone had to abide by these laws. Because of the laws, people were content.

- Everyone in the community was farming, so they had a surplus of food. Eventually, people got bored of their job as a farmer. The decided that not everyone needed to farm, so they started to do jobs that they enjoyed. They also got different materials to use.

- With all these different jobs, some people had to get different resources somehow. They had a idea to trade! If a blacksmith needed food, he would go to the farmer and would trade swords or other things, for food.
