- people immigrate for many different reasons, sometimes even as simple as just thinking life looks better there. sadly more often people immigrate for not only opportunity, but just a chance to survive. people immigrate because of famine, war, genocide, drug violence, gangs, and so much more.
- immigrants face many issues, a massive one is struggling for basics to live, 1 in 3 immigrant households struggle to afford food. And immigrants who are black or Hispanic are way more likely to struggle then white ones. Immigrants a lot of times struggle for clean food, housing, and good healthcare.
- Hopefully my family will be ok soon. Just need to keep working hard
- I'm quite lucky, I went through the whole process, And i mean PROCESS. First is an application, which they take their sweet time to look at, then you have a biometrics appointment(drawing blood and just getting a general idea of your health.), after that is an exam with questions 90% of Americans don't know, then you take the oath. Don't get excited this process takes YEARS.
- I gotta ride this stinky bus to the immigration office every week just to go home to a stinky apartment and a depressing job, and this horrible life is still better then back home! We need help!!!!
- I had to Marry a horrible man just so I can live here.....
