There are 5 people here who are applying for two different jobs, one is a teacher and the other is a principal.
The order here, does make a difference because some of us may be applying for different jobs. When the order matters, we are looking for permutations.
For permutations, the notation used in your calculator would be nPr.
For this example, the "n" would be 5 and "r" would be 2.
After putting that in the calculator using the permutation notation, you will get 20 as your answer.
This means that there are 20 total different orders you can have.
