- Old Major the pig is explaining to the animals of animal farm his dying wishes. He wants the animals to gain freedom. He also wants the animals to overthrow and drive out Mr. Jones, their abusive owner.
- Comrades, I haven't much time left, and these are my wishes.
- This scene depicts the animals overthrowing Mr. Jones. They succeed in fleeing him from the farm, per Major's wishes. The farm animals attack late one night.

- This scene is showing Snowball the pig teaching the animals how to read. This is one of the few things starting to be taught at younger ages in animal farm. Snowball teaches all the animals to read.
- In order to read, you must first pronounce.....
- This scene shows Snowball working on the blueprints for his creation, the windmill. he later tries convincing the animal farm to invest into his project with their labor. Napoleon later takes these as his own, though he argued against them.
- Hmmmm.....
- This scene is Napoleon teaching the young animals the ways of Animal Farm. This includes hating humans. They also refrain from doing anything human-like as to not end up in the same situation with Mr. Jones.
- FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAD!
- This scene is showing how the pigs are acting more like humans. They begin sleeping in beds, wearing clothes, walking upright, etc. They also live in Mr. Jones's house with the excuse that they need the privacy for their minds to work.
- This scene depicts the pigs engaging in trade with humans. The animals look up to the pigs as superior intellectuals so what the pigs say go.
- This scene is the final stage of the book, where the farm is now back to Manor Farm, pigs are almost completely human, carrying whips, wearing clothes, and as shown inviting humans for dinner.
