- Jane is an orphan .Her uncle took her in his house .She lives with her aunt and cousins ,they all dislike her and is treated badly by her aunt and her cousins .She gets blamed for everything. One day John Reed , her cousin attacks her and she flew at him in self-defense .She got blamed for this and was locked in a red room as punishment . In there , she thought she saw a ghost at that night and gets very sick due to fear. She continues to live with them for a while with the prospect for being sent to school .

- Conflict occurs when Mrs. Reed treats Jane very poorly . She has a conflict with John and Mrs. Reed , and is eventually faced with going to school .She is brought down to be evaluated for school and Mrs. Reed talks very poorly of her, and tell lies . She is sent off to Lowood School , there se also has struggles initially and also finds punishments from the headmaster, but she also finds some support.

- When Jane was sent to Lowood School , she faced many hardships but , eventually working hard she the, becomes a teacher .When her 'security' in the person she has come to trust leaves, after she gets married. Jane then, started looking for a job . She finds a job of governess for a young girl Adele. She there meets Adele's nurse and Mrs. Fairfax, both of them were very nice . then, she meets her master Mr. Rochester, after some time she falls in love with him but thought that he will marry a woman of higher societal rank who he had spent a lot of time with , when he was planning his marriage.. But he asks Jane to marry him.

- Mr. Rochester asks Jane to marry him .She agrees , and the wedding gets planned. The two of them go to the church and just when they are about to get married, are interrupted by two men. It was revealed that Mr. Rochester is currently married to a mad woman, he then tries to convince Jane .But, she ran away . Then, she is kindly brought into a house by St. John's house, he then provides her a job as a teacher and mistress of the school being found in the small town for the farmer's girls .All the while not having revealed her true identity. She finds out she has an uncle who died and give all his wealth to Jane.. St ,.John tries to convince her to marry him so, they can go to India and emotionally pressures her.

- Before Jane agrees to marry St. John ,she knows that she has to find Mr. Rochester. She then visits Thornfield ,the house she realized that the house is no more . She then visits his current residence ,finding him crippled and blind .Jane knows that she wants to stay to with him, and the offer of marriage comes, she readily agrees.
- MR.ROCHESTER'S HOUSE
- The two get married and have a family. Jane cares for him and after few years Mr. Rochester's eyesight improves and he is able to see some through one eye.
