- Drug use can impact us in many ways, and the impact can be worse if we abuse it. It could affect our mental and physical health and possibly the relationships we have with our family and friends. Preventing drug abuse can be easily done, two examples are to avoid temptation and peer pressure and examine the risk factors of drug use and abuse
