- This is Grendel, he's always been an outcast most of this whole life. he was constantly isolated from everyone else. He's really angered by this and of constant noise and happiness that the people from the Danes make.
- Grendel and Beowulf start battling in the royal hall that night Beowulf arrives. They fought with no swords as Grendel didn't have any. So they had a fair fight.
- Angered by this the really loud noises, Grendel decides to do something about it and goes all the way over there and kills Hrothgar's men which happened 12 years ago...
- Then here comes in Beowulf with the Geats to Denmark to kill Grendel because he's heard what he's been doing for the past 12 years. The second he arrives, he gets questioned of his capability to actually complete the job but he proves to be strong enough to handle Grendel.
- Beowulf successfully got Grendel. Grendel walked off with no arm. While walking off he slowly bleeds to death. Meanwhile Hrothgar is forever grateful to Beowulf and hangs Grendel's bloody arm on the wall as a trophy to show he has beaten him.
