  • Lets find out
  • The states of matter.
  • And all about them
  • And there is a special guest that really 'matters' to the states of matter
  • What the states of matter are
  • Solid is the state that has its molecules bunched up. When it is heated, the molecules will spread out, but when cooled, the molecules come back together. Solids can even hold liquids, like that water bottle over there. lets look more at the bottle
  • Solid
  • A solid is the state of matter that is hard. Solids are used in everyday life, such as these newspapers, the newspaper stand, even me.
  • Liquid's molecules are more spread out and wiggle everywhere. When the molecules are heated, the molecules will spread out more. When it gets cold, the molecules will get together. Speaking of liquids being heated, a liquid can evaporate into a gas when hot enough.
  • Liquid
  • Liquid is the state of matter that is spread out. Liquids are things like drinking water, pool water, and juice. The coolest thing is that a person's body is 60% water.
  • Gas
  • Gas's molecules go everywhere from top to bottom, and don't stop. When the molecules are warmed, they slowly get together, but when cooled, they go crazy and all over the place again. We use gas a lot in our lives, but something is way bigger than Earth. Outer space.
  • Gas is the state of matter that is everywhere. Gas can be from water (Evaporation), gas can come from a car, and gas can come from... I'm to embarrassed to say it
  • Plasma
  • Hello, I am the moon, and the biggest state of matter is Plasma. Now, you probably have heard of plasma balls, but it gets way bigger. Lightning is plasma, but its even better. 99% of the universe is made of plasma!
  • Plasma's molecules are heated, and never will be cold. Plasma is 11,000° – 14,500° Degrees Fahrenheit! Now that's science.
  • Solid
  • The States of matter.
  • Now you know that the states of matter are...
  • Liquid
  • And Plasma!
  • Gas
