- Rusty James meets his old friend Steve in California . They talk about the “good old days” when they lived near each other and were best friends. The story the transitions to years before (the good old days).
- Climax
- Rusty James is then challenged to a fight by Biff Wilcox. During the fight Biff pulls out a knife and injures Rusty James.
- falling action
- Rusty James, Steve, and motorcycle boy all go downtown and watch a movie and get drunk when two people jump him and Steve in the ally and Rusty James gets injured. Motorcycle boy then saves Steve and Rusty James.
- resolution
- Motorcycle boy then robed a pet store and released the pets. Rusty James had followed motorcycle boy because he felt like he needed to after motorcycle boy told him why he was scared to be alone.
- Motorcycle boy got shot running from the pet store causing Rusty James to go color blind and be “inside his own bubble” just like motorcycle boy. The cops then arrested Rusty James and out him in a detention center.
- Rusty James talks with Steve on the beach and Steve asks him to come to dinner with him.
