Happiness is a good mental state that happens when someone is content with their life or with themselves.
- Human thriving can be influenced by a variety of factors, but one of the key factors in determining whether someone flourishes or not is where they are in respect to their goals. It can be challenging for someone to believe they are moving closer to finding happiness if their goals aren't realized.

- A manner of living that makes a person happy is known as the good life. It is a way of life that is characterized by happiness, enjoyment, and fulfillment. The happy life is another name for the excellent life. Living a good life involves more than just feeling well; it also entails being able to be content with who you are and where you are in life. Human flourishing and happiness are a result of this contentment.
- Happiness can be viewed as both a byproduct and a requirement of leading a good life. Despite not being the same thing as flourishing, happiness is related to it. Happiness is a pleasant mental state that results from or is accompanied by a flourishing life. Flourishing is a successful condition of being. They are related in that happiness follows flourishing but not the other way around because everyone has their own definition of success, and even if they never do, they can and will be happy at some time in their lives.
