- Long long time ago, there was nothing but a living thing in a giant egg swirling around.
- Inside the "egg" the opposite powers of Yin and Yang were all scrambled and it was a mess, over time the interaction of the powers created a new being- a shaggy, horned giant.
- For 18,000 years, Pan Gu the monster slept and grew inside the "egg." But one day he awoke, he could not see anything expect pitch- blackness, and he did not hear anything, which he found very disturbing. So he broke the egg with a magical axe.
- Slowly, yin and yang began to separate. The clear part of the primordial mass of the world becomes the sky, or the heavens, expressing the male yang force. The murky part of the universe coalesces into the earth, resembling the female yin force.
- Pan Gu was anxious that Yin and Yang might meet one day so he stood in the middle, for that reason the sky above him rose 10 feet further and the earth beneath him grew 10 feet thicker and so did Pan Gu to stay up with the growing.
- For thousands of years Pan Gu, had separated Yin and Yang, he became weak and collapsed his final breath turned into winds and clouds his left eye became the sun and right eye became the moon his hair and bread became the starts and light of the milky way. His blood turned into rivers and body parts into mountains.Pan Gu sacrificed his life to create a beautiful life and the world.
