  • Monarchy
  • Reduce taxes!
  • Representative Democracy
  • I agree with him! Let's reduce taxes!
  • It's a done deal!
  • Feudalism
  • A Monarchy is when a king or queen rules over everyone. The role of king/queen is inherited from your parents. The title will be given to one of their sons or daughter when they die and is often given to the oldest. There are also 2 types of monarchy. An absolute monarchy is when the ruler has all the power. While a constitutional monarchy is when the ruler has limited power. An example of a constitutional monarchy is Japan with emperor Akihito.
  • Oligarchy
  • Within a representative democracy, everyone holds the power. The community elects officials by vote to stand with them and give them what they want. For instance, we vote for the president, vice president, and other government officials. An example of representative democracy in the United Kingdom. They will all vote for their officials to represent them and make their country better. By the people voting for what they want there will be less arguing and happier people in their community.
  • Anarchy
  • Feudalism is a dominant social system that was used in medieval Europe. The king was at the top of the pyramid followed by nobles then knights then peasants/serfs. The peasants would work for the lord/nobles in exchange for food and protection. This form of government faded away over the years but not completely. A country that still uses feudalism in Pakistan. The lord/rich have a big influence on the lives and politics of the lower classes.
  • Dictatorship
  • Follow what I say and don't disobey!
  • An Oligarchy is a form of government-run by multiple people. The leaders/kings in an oligarchy were often selfish and rich people. There were usually 4 or 5 people in charge in an Oligarchy. This form of government was first used in 800 B.C. An Oligarchy is a medieval form of government and usually isn't used today. A modern-day country that still uses an Oligarchy government is Turkey.
  • Anarchy is an absence of government and people can do whatever they want. There was no punishment causing a ton of crime and injuries. There were often people that wanted to have power and would try to take over. There are no modern countries today that are Anarchies. They saw how bad it was for them and their people. The officials also wanted to have control and not allow the people to run all over them.
  • HAHAHAHAHAHHHAHA
  • A Dictatorship is a form of government where there is only 1 person in charge. They have complete control over everyone and everything. If the people want lower taxes or to get paid more it doesn't matter as it comes down to the leader to decide. Surprisingly there are still countries that have a dictatorship. A famous example of this is North Korea. North Korea has no outside connection and will not anyone leave from there.
