- In 509 BCE when me and my fellow patricians drove away the etruscan king, I never thought it would turn out like this. I'll tell you the whole story from my perspective.

- My name is Ricky Johnsters the third and I am not happy. In 494 BCE I walked out of my temple to absolute chaos, I found out those nasty plebeians had rebelled. They are so ungrateful for everything we have done for them, if it wasn't for us they would all be dead. I found out they were camping on a nearby hill so I did what I had to do, go find them.
- I searched long and hard but in 451 BCE the patricians gave in. None of us were happy about it but it had to be done, we needed the plebeians to do the work around the city that no fellow patrician should have to do. After many years of fighting the laws were formed.
- I never ever thought the plebeians would get this much power but once again they were ungrateful. In 367 BCE they started huge riots, verbally attacked us, and sometimes physically. They wanted one of the two consuls to be plebeian and somehow they got their way. That day I was embarrassed to be a Roman. I wondered, "What did we do wrong?"
- In 287 BCE the plebeians earned the right to pass laws, even for us patricians. That means they are able to tell us what to do now!! None of it made sense, why are we equal to the plebeians? I don't think I've ever been angry in my entire life I just had to go somewhere to get away from all those plebeians. I went to my favorite spot, even though it was raining.
- Well there you have it, that's the story of how those awful plebeians got so much power. It took a long time but I'm finally getting used the plebeians being in charge sometimes. I will never ever be happy about it but It is what it is I guess. Thanks for listening to my story!
